Marsha Borovicka
FOUNDER & HONORARY GUEST CONDUCTOR EMERITUS
Marsha Borovicka founded the Choral Artists of Southern Nevada and directed the choir since its inaugural season in 2009 through 2025. The group was created after she directed the choirs and orchestra in a local production of “Savior of the World.” Marsha has a lifetime of musical leadership that precedes her directorship of Choral Artists.
A proud native of Las Vegas, she is a retired high school choir director, having directed over 13,000 students during her 34-year career in CCSD. The motto she shares with her beloved husband, Bob, is “Today’s rehearsal is tomorrow’s performance.” This motto has been adopted by the choir in their efforts to excel in both music and daily life. She continues to serve on the CASN board and can be seen at our concerts as an Honorary Guest Conductor.

Jacob Hasler
DIRECTOR
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Jacob has been playing piano since he was seven years old. In ninth grade, after two years as his middle school choral program’s full-time accompanist, he finally had the chance to sing in a choir, sparking his lifelong love of choral music.
He studied music education and general music at Brigham Young University in Provo, singing with the BYU Singers for five years and serving as bass section leader and accompanist. He also studied privately in voice, choral conducting, and collaborative piano.
Jacob performs and accompanies regularly and served as Assistant Director of CASN for more than two years before taking on this new role. He is also active as a composer and arranger, with music published by Hinshaw Music. When he’s not making music, he enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with his family and his mini Labradoodle, Millie.
Jacob is honored to help lead CASN into its next chapter; he is grateful for the opportunity to carry on the legacy Marsha created and looks forward to continuing the ensemble’s tradition of musical excellence. -
Allison Olson
ACCOMPANIST
Allison has been accompanying Choral Artists since 2017. Originally from Eugene, Oregon and later Las Vegas, she is a busy mom of seven and grandmother of one. She works as a private music instructor, an accompanist for CCSD music programs, and a health coach.
She says she loves CASN because of the friendships she has formed and the beautiful music they create together. CASN is always very appreciative of Allison and her musical expertise.
Who we are
